Book Talk Tuesday, a Freebie and a Giveaway!

Hi Friends!  Today I'm linking up with Mrs. Jump's Class for Book Talk Tuesday!  There were so many great books talked about at the I Teach K conference, I wanted to buy them all!  Sadly, I can't afford to do that.  Plus I don't exactly have that much space in my classroom!

When I saw Deanna's linky party I decided to buy one book per week for the rest of the summer!  This week the book is the newest by the fabulous Mo Willems.  I love all of his books, but this one is about friendship!  Gerald gets a bit nervous when Piggie makes a new friend, but in the end he learns that it's okay to have other friends and still have your best friend.  I think it's a perfect book for kindergarten because this is something we deal with all the time!

    I need to read those Gerald and Piggie books...I always see them, but haven't sat down to read one. Perhaps this one will be on my next Prime Order!

    I 'LOVE' all the Elephant and Piggie books. The kids really do like these books and they are my favorite to read aloud. I am always buying books...I feel like such a book hoarder, lol. Anywhoo, I need to add this one to my collection, thanks for sharing! :)

Back to School Giveaway!

  I can not believe it has been two years since I opened my little   TPT   Store!!!   I am so thankful   for all of the support I have found.   I started my store thinking that if I could make back the money for what I spent on clip art, then I could buy more clip art to make more stuff for my classroom.   When I make stuff for my classroom, I share it.   Then I get to buy more clip art! Now, it has turned into a hobby that I   truly   enjoy.  The first big project I made was my behavior calendars.  I update them every year and they are still free.
