Pin It I could not even believe it the other day when I opened my blog and found that I had reached over 200 followers!  Thank you so much.  This year has been a tiny bit tougher than I had anticipated and so I have to admit that my little blog has suffered.  That makes me all the more grateful!  So....I think that 200 followers is a perfect reason to have a giveaway!   I will choose a winner on Sunday, January 15th with the random generator thingy.  The winners can pick 2 items from my Teachers Pay Teachers store .  I am thinking 2 winners! Pin It I've just finished my Valentine's Day Write the Room center.  There is one version for writing the numbers and another version for writing the number words.  They are both free on Teacher's Pay Teachers!  My kids love this center.  I hope your's will too! Number Words Numbers 1-6

Pin It You know what I'm talking about right?  That first day back after a break or long weekend when you open the door and let in those sweet little angels, and they actually stay angels!  I actually had that day today, well for the most part anyway.  I think they must have missed the place. NOBODY had to turn their card... well, one kid did, but not until the last hour of the day.  Plus they read for FIVE whole minutes during daily five (we just started about 2 weeks before break).  I changed our schedule up a bit.  We have specials in the morning so I moved math to the morning and put just about everything literacy in the afternoon.  Close to the end of the day one little sweetie actually said "I can't believe how fast this day went"!   Please let the honeymoon last forever!

Pin It Well, I really did have great intentions about keeping up with the blog over the winter break.  But what can I say!  It's sort of like exercise because I also had really good intentions about going to the gym.  That didn't happen to much either =(.  But I did eat a lot of really great food and I learned to sleep in until 10:00! j I haven't been totally lazy because I also managed to complete 2 new math units and that's great because I'll need to use them when I go back to work.  They are all on sale at my  TPT  and at my  Teachers Notebook !  There is more stuff on my TPT site.  I hope you get a chance to check the out.  Thanks for following!!  Happy New Year!
